    This morning we enjoy a short city tour before being transferred to the World Famous Calgary Stampede for our first day. Please note that we are booked into the Rodeo today, which starts at 1-15pm,after the Rodeo free time to enjoy the Stampede and at your own leisure make your way home by the C Train, which runs between the Stampede Grounds and Calgary City. Overnight in the heart of Calgary. Tonight enjoy the city of Calgary and the atmosphere of the Calgary Stampede; maybe visit one of the many famous boot shops.

    Today is a free day and you will have a day Pass to the Calgary Stampede and Tickets to tonight’s Chuck Wagon Races and Show which starts at the Stampede at 7-00pm. please use the C Train to get to and from the Stampede at own leisure.

    Calgary - Drumheller - Calgary

    After a relaxing morning we depart to Drumheller and the Alberta Badlands. Venturing into the “Badlands” of Alberta, we appear to be stepping back into prehistoric times. Firstly we visit the the Worlds Largest Dinosaur, Midland Provincial Park and the Tyrrell Museum, which is considered the worlds finest dinosaur museum and features fascinating galleries and skeletons from the Jurassic period.

    This afternoon we visit the mixed cropping farm of Adam Muller and his family looking at Wheat,Canola, we then visit a Bison farming operation before returning to Calgary.

    Calgary - Banff

    Today we depart to the Rockies travelling by coach to Banff. Banff is the first and most famous of Canada's national parks and is an incomparable combination of towering peaks and high meadows, emerald lakes and keen mountain air. These - and sulphur hot springs - have made Banff National Park one of North America's most spectacular scenic and recreational areas.

    We enjoy free afternoon  in Banff.

    Our morning tour of Banff features Banff springs, Bow River and all the beautiful sights that Banff has to offer. This afternoon is free to enjoy one of the many activities available to do in Banff.

    Lake Louise

    Today we travel along the Bow Valley Parkway to Lake Louise, we visit The Fairmont Chateau Hotel and enjoy the Crystal blue green Lake Louise. This morning we will have time to enjoy the 4km walk to the top of the Lake.

    We then visit the Spiral train lookout and  emerald Lake, we then check into our accommodation in Lake Louise.

    Lake Louise - Edmonton

    This morning we depart for Edmonton, travelling through the snowcapped peaks of the Rocky Mountains.

    Upon arrival at the Columbia Ice field we will depart on a specially constructed snow coach that will take us on the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. We continue on our journey through the parkway, enjoying the wildlife along this beautiful stretch of the Rockies to Jasper where we stop for lunch and a walk before travelling eastward through the rolling hills to the Oil and Agriculture City of Edmonton.

    Edmonton

    Edmonton, Alberta's capital and Canada's most northerly city, is a thriving metropolis astride the North Saskatchewan River. A supply base to the Klondike Gold Rush of the late 1890's Edmonton expanded dramatically in 1905 with the arrival of the transcontinental railway and new status as provincial capital.

    This morning we enjoy a city tour of Edmonton.

    A highlight of today's tour will be the West Edmonton Mall - home to 800 shops and services, the world's largest indoor amusement park, two indoor lakes (one large enough for surfing, the other deep enough for submarine rides), an NHL size skating rink, and an 18 hole golf course.

    Edmonton - Lloydminster

    This morning we depart Alberta and travel by coach through the Alberta agriculture region with its rolling hills, we visit a local grain farm and a john deere machinery dealership.

    Lloydminster - Saskatoon

    After a relaxing breakfast we continue by coach travelling east to Saskatchewan.

    Our first visit is morning tea at Barry Bourchier at his family farm; Barry and his son Corey own a Speckle Park Stud and a Grain farm producing wheat, Canola. Our next visit is to a Local Hutterite Colony to learn about the Hutterites and their farming practices.

    After lunch we continue across the Prairies onto Saskatoon, which is the largest city in the province surrounded by natural beauty and the South Saskatchewan River. It has been given other names, such as the “Paris of the Prairies” and “Bridge City” due to its 8-river crossings and rich culture.

    Today we visit Nutriens head office which is located in Saskatoon. Nutrien owns Landmark in Australia and is a large producer of Agriculture products including Pot Ash Mines.

    After we tour CNH Plant where Flexi Coil seeders are produced and after lunch enjoy a visit to the Western Development Museum and Black Fox Distillery, which is owned by former Canadian Farmers of the year who sold there grain farm and started a distillery and flower farm, an interesting story to be heard.

    Today we spend a full day at Ag in Motion, the largest agricultural trade show in Western Canada that provides an outdoor venue for progressive farmers that want to see and feel the largest agricultural innovations in one place. Ag in Motion brings innovation to the field through interactive exhibits and live field and crop plot demonstrations. Today we meet with the General Manger of Seed Master the developer of there Automated Machinery division.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of  $500-00 per person is payable no later than 14 days from reservation. A completed booking form is required with deposit payment. 

Full Payment is due 15th May and is non-refundable 45 days prior to departure.
